Glad to find this outlet here in klang valley. The interior is well decorated and interesting except the ventilation is bad. The smell of oil hits you as soon as you swing open the main door. Overpowered the smell of coffee. The food menu is limited but the beverages list is never-ending. Tried their elephant brand black coffee and white coffee. It didn't look kaw kaw because you dont see stain on the cups but the taste was kaw (strong). The white coffee was with the right amount of sweetness. Mee bandung 434 was a first for me. The thick broth tasted like a mixture of prawn noodle soup with curry paste. Tasty but sambal was on the sweetish side. Same with the sambal for the nasi lemak. The rice was fluffy and nice. Rendang chicken was tender. Mee siput was not oily, crispy and was a little bit hard. An unusual snack. They have desserts as well. Many merchandise on sale. We cannot resist buying some snacks home.

I finally got round to trying this place. I haven’t had the opportunity before because they close at 7 pm which is too early for me. I must say that my first impression was good. From the real coffee tree growing in a pot outside, to the coffee paraphernalia on display to the solid timber log wood table, a lot of thought has been put into this cafe. Their signature 434 Iced Coffee was good. Not too sweet or strong, just right for my taste. I tried the Mee Bandung which is a signature dish from Muar. This was truly excellent. The gravy was tasty and spicy. In fact it was spicy enough to make me reach for the tissues to blow my nose. My only complaint is that the noodles were slightly overcooked and too soft. If they can get the timing right, this would be worthy as their signature dish. All the same I would give it a Highly Recommended. On a return visit the noodles were done properly and taste was still good. Muar is also famous for otak-otak. The version here comes in the daun nipah which imparts a unique fragrance to the fish paste filling. This was slightly spicy and tasty. This gets a Recommeded from me. The Fried Durian Ball was freshly fried and served piping hot on the table. Inside the crispy outer layer is a layer of flour and then a filling of durian paste. Not the best I’ve had but it’s still pretty good. A nice end to a good meal. Return visit: Bihun Siam with Otak-otak - the Bihun lacked flavour and needed the sambal to add some taste. The otak-otak was a large piece and quite good. However I’d give the Bihun a miss in future. Half boiled eggs were decent. Bread with butter and Kaya was good as well with good quality butter but the Kaya was a strange dark colour and not quite fragrant. Mee siput is a Muar snack. Basically a bundle of noodles deep fried until crispy and eaten with a spicy sambal. It’s quite tasteless and rather hard. You can try it if you want to know what it’s like but I would not order it again. Lol. Sept 2025: The Mee Bandung came with Fried chicken . Still good and Highly Recommended. Nasi Ayam Rendang - more like chicken curry rather than rendang. I had to confirm with the waitress that they gave me the right dish. Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng - nice sambal with good spiciness. Fragrant rice and freshly fried chicken. 434 Milk Shake - string coffee taste with ice cream mixed in. Didn’t look great but tasted good. Mr Fairephant - cross between a coffee milkshake and a grass jelly drink? Not to my liking.

Had brunch here. Ordered the meehoon goreng with sambal and fried chicken. The fried chicken was good. Meehoon goreng was below average. The Mee Bandung was very good. The koayteow soup was also below average. The spicy korean noodle was a bit better than the koay teow soup. The otak otak was nice but very small piece. The durian ball was ok.

Stopped by for tea time. The atmosphere and the service is good. They sell merchandise and their own products too. The coffee is very kaw. So if you like strong coffee, this is the place. The food is not bad but some are served in paper baskets…Will definitely come again to try their main courses.

You should come here if you like coffee. The local varieties that they have are brilliant! The selection of toast bread are great too. They have their own kaya. It's darker in colour but taste great. They have what appears to me the best soft boiled eggs. The whites are cooked but very soft while the yolk is soft but very runny. Nasi lemak is ok. Mee Bandung Muar I like. There's cakoi and otak-otak. The usual roast in coconut leaf, inside steamed bun or just plain steam otak2 with chunky fish meat. No strong orange colouring and less sweet. I love the elephant bean coffee where they gather the beans from elephant's shit. LOL just kidding. I'm the first to come after waiting by the entrance after sending my daughter to the Kajang court. But it was very cold in the morning as the a/c were at full blast

First time trying out this outlet originated from Muar Johor and it’s probably the most yellowish building in Kajang located just beside the Pasar Kajang. I love Kopi 434 to have their Kopi C and Kaya Toast with Butter. The aroma of their Kopi C is very rich and aromatic leaving behind a nice bitterness in the mouth… nice. Their Kaya toast is good but I just wish their toast to be a bit thicker… other than that, it’s yummy. Before leaving, don’t forget to buy their Kopi because it’s cheaper thank buying online or in the supermarket.
